The Democratic Socialists of America is the largest socialist organization in the United States, and the principal US affiliate of the Socialist International. DSA members envision a better world for all and are leading progressive movements to fix the broken systems being imposed on us by the corrupted few.
We are building on the legacies of champions for democracy and socialism that came before, in America, around the world, and throughout history. They shared the wisdom that a better world is indeed possible and demonstrated the courage to fight for it, no matter the odds. Now, as we face new challenges that were scarcely imagined in past centuries, we must do our parts to carry the banner forward at this most critical time in human history. Far too much is at stake.
We are socialists because we share a vision of a humane international social order based on both democratic principles and market mechanisms to achieve an equitable economy, meaningful work, a healthy environment, sustainable growth, gender and racial equity, and peaceful prosperity.
We are socialists because we reject an international economic order of private profiteering, alienated labor, race and gender discrimination, environmental destruction, and brutality and violence in defense of the status quo.
At the root of our socialism is a profound commitment to democracy, as means and end. As we are unlikely to see an immediate end to capitalism tomorrow, DSA fights for reforms today that will weaken the power of corporations and increase the power of working people.
The Young Democratic Socialists of America (YDSA) is made up of students from colleges and high schools across the US.
Please join us in DSA, or your local Socialist International organization, to help build a better, healthier, and more just world for all, not just a few.
I am an older gentleman now in retirement. I have paid my dues to the thieves in suits and hope that I can survive my remaining years while retaining whatever human(e)ity I have left. I don't take vaccines or meds and have not seen a Doctor in over 20 years and surprise, surprise, I am still very much alive and kicking.
Well this 'bio' box seems to now be working so I will try to add some thing of interest.
I'm a "credit where its due", "Truth and Evidence" based person, so if you are hard one side or the other I WILL piss you off at some point.
Deal with it.
I will 'almost' always tell the truth as I have found it to be, if I'm wrong, please prove that to me ...I'm good with that.
My youTube link is for the account I keep for myself with stuff I have found to be interesting to watch or learn from, and a basic index of 'good stuff' from 'this.Culture.War' to computing in a GNU/Linux / Unix-like way,

“An unbelieved truth can hurt a man much more than a lie. It takes great courage to back truth unacceptable to our times. There's a punishment for it, and it's usually crucifixion.”
