My channel is almost exclusively writing-related posts - original short stories, novel snippets, and discussions of the craft of writing.
Original Photography -- These digital photographs are from my own collection. I have always loved nature that was around me, and my love of flowers comes from my mother. I have developed and printed my own Black & White photos, which is a discipline, and I learned a lot. Living in Washington state, there seems to be a lot going on around us. Under the warm glow of the moon, I draw the ache of beauty, the bite of memory, and the touch of the otherworld ,softly, slowly, and sometimes a little scandalously.
I treat grief like it’s holy and lust like it’s sacred. I draw the in-between where love lingers, where love isn’t lost, only changed And yes, sometimes the ghost gets to stick around and flirt a little.
My main weapon of choice is digital illustration (Procreate on iPad), though I like to dabble in the physical too; pencil, ink, colored pencil, gouache I like to try anything at least once.
