Stinging Nettle Patch

I had bought some stinging nettles locally last(?) year. Looking like a proper little patch now. Might harvest a few or might let them go this year and start harvesting next year. Seems I did well on site selection and they are naturalizing well.

This is why we don't plant most of our stuff until June. I wish it was actually raining like it is showing. We haven't had a decent rain yet this year, just a couple quick sprinkles. We are going to cover the bushes (like the Haskaps) that are flowering with a tarp the next two nights.

The Garden Menace

Not the best picture but there is my garden menace, Bertha. Consumer of pea shoots and seeds, creator of random tree sprout stashes, and grand hole digger extraordinaire.
