Nuclear power companies say they could re-start German power plants by 2030

The blackout in Spain and Portugal - caused by their idiotic solar power - sent shockwaves through Europe. Suddenly everyone realized how bad it is getting and they want to return to restore a reliable power supply: https://www.nius.de/energie/news/fuehrende-atomunternehmen-neustart-der-deutschen-kernkraftwerke-vor-2030-moeglich/23d0fbdc-3019-4b4a-b99a-225014e8db73

Denmark considering building nuclear power plants as "backup" for useless "green" energy

I always said that wind & solar need 100% backup, ideally nuclear; but at that point, why use stupid wind & solar? They are an utter, complete waste of resources! https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/05/16/denmark-nuclear-power-renewables-green-energy/

A really dumb "smart" idea - transforming the energy of the steps of pedestrians into electricity 🙄🤦‍♂️ https://youtube.com/shorts/tHXlAEViewM?si=w70xFsPnmWw_i75Q The cost is enormous and will never be recovered with the electricity generated, which is almost useless - like...See more

A Europe-wide blackout was narrowly avoided, this week

We were lucky that the network held, in France, thanks to their nuclear power, obviously!

Spain / Portugal - it was definitely the "green", i.e. wind & solar energy

Spain blackout: All fingers point to a spike of solar power in the grid. Red Eléctrica warned about the risks associated with renewable energy back in February. The usual idiots who worry about "the climate" (which is 100% fine) just don't get it... I posted this just hours before the blackout: https://www.minds.com/newsfeed/1763517587603333120

Electricity network management & wasted energy

One aspect people who talk about "green" energy keep missing is the importance of the electric grid that distributes the energy from production to consumer. This article explains the problem...See more

The official estimate is that data centers will require 2x more energy by 2030, mostly due to AI 🤔 Total consumption for data centers will correspond to the total energy use of Japan. The human brain remains unsurpassed in terms of IQ per Joul. They had better start optimizing those AI processors! Then again, humanity uses just about the equivalent of 0.01% of the amount of energy reaching planet earth from the sun. So who cares? https://www.handelszeitung.ch/newsticker/datenzentren-brauchen-bis-2030-doppelt-so-viel-strom-813800-1
