The Prophet serves as a special witness of Jesus Christ and testifies that Jesus still lives and guides His church.
Restoration of the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His Church: Many of us forget that the original 12 apostles were all killed off. As a result the keys of the priesthood authority were taken from the Earth. Priesthood = the authority Jesus gave His 12 Apostles to act (Baptize, Ordain, Etc...) in His name. The Church that He established during New Testament times was destroyed, and centuries later restored with the help of a very young Joseph Smith who was chosen to translate the Book of Mormon and get The Church of Jesus Christ up and running again: Teaching the Gospel, patiently perfecting the members, and completing proxy baptismal work for the dead that died without knowledge of the Plan of Salvation - so they too may choose in the Spirit World (after-life) to follow Christ by making covenants like baptism, or not. You'll understand the doctrine more clearly when you finish reading The Book of Mormon - Another Testament of Jesus Christ; The other Testament, The Holy Bible.

I believe we need more transparency in government. I know we are lied to on a daily basis by the mainstream media and the history being taught in schools today is not only untrue, but harmful to any independent free thinking individual.
I believe freedom of speech is one of the most sacred rights we have as individuals. I welcome dissenting opinions as long as they are presented in a decent, coherent manner.
I enjoy truth, beauty and unusual stories. I follow lots of different people and post lots of things I find interesting. If I post something it's because I find it interesting, thought provoking or beautiful. I don't always agree wholeheartedly with everything I post but I do truly enjoy hearing what others have to say.
I find irreverent humor quite funny and also am known to curse. If that offends you then just move along.
