Maier files started there β a graphic novel following an ordinary couple, Dieter and Lena, after they surface the diaries of Otto Maier: a physicist who vanished without a trace at the end of the Second World War. What they find pulls them into a conflict between mighty, mismatched powers that never stopped fighting over what Maier knew.
It's rooted in real European locations, Germanic mythology, runic tradition, and history most people were never taught. Alongside the twelve published episodes sits a research archive of nearly 900 articles, published on the same site, in the same voice. No one draws the line for you between where the record ends and the story begins.
