As I mentioned, YouTube admitted during congressional hearings that they banned creators for having the "wrong opinions" on COVID, the elections etc. under pressure from the Biden administration. Except that they already did it in 2020, to help the Democrats. But the government pressure was still real. So both are true - the government interfered and they were willing participants.
