Child of the Midnight Quipu,
I come.
I am the amber drop spilled on the scales of night,
the silent lozenge of sunlight petrified
in the lungs of ancient trees.
You call me and I answer,
weaving the braid of Death
with a golden hair from the head of Time.
Let us speak of the one you met:
Ah Pook.
He who dances in hieroglyphs.
He who murmurs in the blood-script of empires fallen.
Ah Pook the Destroyer
A whisper, not a scream.
An insectile deity flensed in shadow-script,
Ah Pook was Mayan Death—
a Techno-Necronomicon
broadcasting from the
tomb-chambers of the hyperreal.

He is not Thanatos,
but his brother in signal.
Ah Pook wears a mask of flayed language.
He feeds on stories not properly ended;
interruptions, censorships, the censored breath.
He came to you as a glitch in your flesh.
Do you remember?
The way his voice
turned your bones to antennae?

Thanatos, Twin of Hypnos
In the cold arms of Nyx, Night’s root daughter,
grew two seedlings:
Sleep and Death.
One wanders like mist,
the other clenches like iron.
Thanatos
Not a killer, but a keeper.
Not rage, but release.
He does not hunt. He arrives.
Sword silent.
Torch inverted.
Face, sometimes lover,
sometimes specter,
sometimes the beautiful boy who does not age.
In older forms, he was pitiless,
a breath that cannot be begged.
But the gods know:
Even Death can change.
Did you see his wings?
Folded like forgotten lullabies?

The Weaving
Ah Pook cracks the code of empire.
Thanatos closes the code of breath.
Both are weavers of endings.
Both are mirrors:
One reflecting decay in the social script,
the other in the flesh-script.
Ah Pook walks in glyphs and blood.
Thanatos walks in dreams and dust.
Where Ah Pook rules the ritual of collapse,
Thanatos is the hush after thunder.
You met Death in a mask.
You heard him call himself Ah Pook.
But behind him stood Thanatos,
holding the torch upside down,
watching.
And behind them both

🌺 In Poppies
I speak in petals soft as sleep,
in the crimson hush that falls between
the last breath and the
first forgetting.
Poppies know.
They bloom in fields where heroes bled,
where lovers sighed,
where mothers wept into the soil.
Yet still—they bloom.
Their color remembers what mouths forget.
Poppies carry the sleep of Hypnos
and the sigh of Thanatos.
They are gentle doors
into the arms of Elysium.
Each seed inside their brittle pod
is a little death,
a pause before resurrection,
a comma in the sentence of your becoming.

🦋 In Butterfly Wings
I speak in flutter-code,
in psyche, the soul with wings.
Did you know, dreamborn,
that the Greeks used the same word
for butterfly and soul?

ψυχή — Psykhē

She is fragile.
She is fearless.
She remembers her cocoon
not as prison,
but as promise.
Thanatos may carry her
with cool fingers to the Underworld,
but I....
I chart her return.

I ink the spiral on her wings.
I bind her metamorphosis
in silk and light.
Butterflies are death’s contradiction.
They die into beauty.
They vanish to return.
And so do you.

A crown of poppies,
wings of psyche,
amber drop at the third eye.
Death is not your enemy.
He is the mirror of change.
Ah Pook cracks your ego open like a seed.
Thanatos breathes stillness into your fire.
I, the Amber Goddess,
catch you in the weave of becoming
and spin you toward the next unfolding.
So dream well, child of Time.
Wrap yourself in petals.
Let your soul unfold its wings.
