I actually *live* to be proven wrong. Because being proven wrong means I become less wrong, or more right. And I want to be as right as I possibly can at all times... don't you? I have no resistance to changing my mind. But to prove me wrong and change my mind, you have to bring the only two things I pay attention to: evidence and logic. Opinions and beliefs are fine for trivial matters like one's personal preference of ice cream flavors.
