This page will basically be a history type of page for the Internal Stability Division (ABS-ISD) of the old South African Police (SAP). This unit does not exist anymore, the Unit under the name Internal Stability Division operated from 1991 to 1994. This unit dealt with political violence and intimidation by rival political opponents, the units also dealt with the ethnic violence and killing of the time.
